Kenya rallies to increase Trade
Kenya’s trade with South Korea has increased from $3.6million in 2007 to $5.5 million in 2012, a 65% growth rate. Exports to South Korea include coffee, printed matter, scrap metal, gemstones, pyrethrum, wood products, handicraft, beer, tobacco, raw vegetables and sea food.

Chinese company to make trucks in Tanzania
China Heavy Duty Truck Group (SinoTruck) has shown interest of building an assembly plant in Dar es Salaam to cater the growing needs for heavy duty vehicles in East Africa and beyond.
The Chinese Ambassador to Tanzania, Mr Liu Xinsheng, said the company took his invitation to build the assembly plant in the country seriously.
