Epson Introduces Compact, Pocket-Friendly Printers - kenyadetails

Epson seeks to introduce a new range of reliable, budget-friendly printers targeted at the Kenyan business community. The introduction of the LX-350, a new range of compact dot matrix printers, is aimed at enlarging Epson's business footprint in an

already competitive environment.

The compact printers will retail at Kshs 14,000 (US $165) and are targeted at customers seeking dependable products that offer maximum value for money spent.

The LX-350 printers are energy-efficient, consuming 24-27 watts when powered on and barely over 1 watt while on standby.

Its compact size and light weight allows the LX-350 to fit neatly on a desk and is ideal where space is limited. The extremely reliable printer offers multiple connectivity options: parallel, serial and USB interfaces as standard, therefore allowing quick integration with existing systems.

Epson Regional Sales Manager, Mukesh Bector states that the company is keen to enhance customer experience through introduction of reliable products that are tailored to meet their customers' constantly changing business needs.

"The introduction of the new printers is in line with our plans to grow our business in the Kenyan market, which offers huge potential for growth," he said. "Consumers especially in emerging markets like Sub-Saharan Africa have constantly expressed the need for saving money while going about their printing businesses, and at the same time increasing their productivity. The LX-350 ensures that these specific needs are met," Mukesh added.

Epson has been aggressively making its presence felt in the business community, introducing new products such as Label Works printers for the retail market and the Ultra-Short Throw projectors targeted at learning institutions.

"Reliable, compact and economical, the Epson LX-350 has all your printing needs covered. Small and light enough to be used almost anywhere, the LX-350 also has incredibly low power consumption, helping to keep your carbon emissions and running costs down", said Mukesh.

Mukesh believes that Epson's business growth within the East African region will be dependent on developing products that specifically address the needs of the local business community while offering quality, reliable after sale service.
