Plans underway to construct multi-million dollar airport in Kenya

Kenya plans to construct a major airport in the Eastern part of the country,area governor martin Wambora has announced. The multi-million dollar airport in Kenya will be constructed in Embu County. The International Airport is expected to cost US$ 99 Million.
Embu Governor Martin Wambora said his county is currently in talks with the National government along with other partners to ensure that the multi-million dollar airport in Kenya kicks off as soon as possible during his tenure in office.
Construction of Kenya’s Nairobi Southern Bypass nears Completion

The Nairobi southern bypass in Kenya that has been under construction for a year is nearing completion with the road accessible from the junction of Mombasa road interchange at Ole Sereni all the way to Kabete-Limuru road at Kikuyu town.
According to Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) officials currently the contractor finalizing the project with the erection of all the wall barriers along the bypass adjacent to Kibera area.
Other final touches undertaken in finalising the Nairobi southern bypass is landscaping to beautify the entire section before it can be launched formally – although it is already in use.
KeNHA added that it is highly anticipated that the project will be completed on time.
Construction of Kenya’s first double decker highway to begin in earnest

Construction of Kenya’s first double decker highway has received the much needed impetus after the World Bank agreed to finance the project. The highway is aimed at decongesting the city.
The road, Kenya’s first double decker highway, is expected to link Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and Nairobi-Nakuru highway. Construction is set to begin by the end of 2016.
Kenya’s Garden City Mall to get business park

A business park is set to be constructed alongside Garden City mall in Kenya’s capital Nairobi its developers have announced.
The owners of the property dubbed The Garden City Business Park (GCBP) have proposed to divide the land into 10 plots and develop offices on two of them and further lease out the rest for predetermined use. It is planned to occupy 23.5 acres of land along Thika Road and will encompass unique facilities like business hotels, a hospital and offices.
